Forgiveness denied

I walked into the throne room with my head bowed to the floor
Carrying a mountain of the life I did before
I owed a million lifetimes, every coin I’d ever spent
I was nothing but a debtor, and my spirit came and went
The King looked down with mercy, He saw my heavy load
He took the pen, He struck it through, and wiped it off the road.
