Blade of Dawn

Whispered winds call my name through the dark,

Guiding my steps with a gentle spark.

You, you are the wind, a soft caress on my face,

A dream fading away in this lonely place.

Lost in the night, shadows surround,

Searching for light, where hope is found.

Wake me up, open my eyes,

The moon hangs low in blood-red skies.

Piercing through the black, a shining arrow,

Breaking the darkness, sparrow.

Follow you to the ends of the earth,

Where skies meet the dry land's worth.

Flames bloom from fields of despair,

Fireflowers burning in the air.

Walking this world, seeking that sweet smile,

Waiting for dawn to stay awhile.

In a storm's gathering, I stand tall,

Your angel in chaos, I will not fall.

Never letting go, I hold onto your soul,

Resurrect my strength, make me whole.

With sword in hand, I fight the night,

Ripping earth with all my might.
