Born amidst silence, but I knew my dad was there,

Not absent but silent, his love cloaked in despair.

Friendships fading, leaving traces of pain.

Lost in grief, two souls slipped away,

Struggling for closure, I couldn't find my way.

Now I feel the heartbeat within,

Surging through my veins, life begins again.

From darkness, I rise and transcend,

Healing wounds, I’m alive and free at the end.

Dark spirals hidden, out of sight.

Through therapy and love, I broke the chain,

Found strength in myself, beyond the pain.

Each loss a lesson, each scar a guide,

Learning to open my soul wide.

Spirit calling me to a higher place,

A protector born from grace.
