I found your picture in a drawer

Edges worn, like a time before

The light hits soft, the colors fade

Just like the words you’d never say

I take a drag and watch the rain

Trace the ashes on the window pane

Everything’s quiet, everything’s surreal

Except for memories in the still

I try to smile, but I can’t move

I’m stuck in this faded room

The house feels empty, the walls too tall
