Leaving the nest

My house was so empty and quiet the last day of school.

It seemed forever the first day of kindergarten till the last day of highschool.

All those years of having football practices and games to attend too. Now it's all done and over. What I wouldn't do to have it all over again. What do I do with my time now that your all raised and heading out on your own. How do we fill each day with time of our own. Too not break down in tears from all the pain of our little ones growing into adults. Help me fill my days to not be so lonely and longing to have those times back. I'll remember those days each and every season not to break down in tears and to keep everything together with all those memories of you boys. I will remember those days boys.
