Rising from the Ashes

Whispered echoes in the night, shadows fall and fade

Haunted by the ghost of you, in every step I take

Lost myself in midnight's grip, drowning in despair

Every memory a weight, heavy on my air

Battling storms inside my mind, fighting through the pain

Searching for a light, to rise above the rain

But somewhere deep within, a spark begins to glow

A whisper telling me, I’ve still got hope to show

Fighting depression’s hold, stepping into the light

Hate may have tried to keep me down, but I’ve found my way

Coming back stronger, reclaiming a brand new day

Tears fell like rain, washing all the hurt away

Learning to forgive myself, for every restless day

Walking out of darkness, into a hopeful space

There’s a fire inside, that no cold can contain
