The pull of the taste .the touch of the lust and the loss of the children that comes with the desires. It takes it away just for an hour ,the taste of the drug that burns your desire. You gave up your life your family and friends just for the needle and what lays within. It’s a dark place you travel as you look within. All the bridges gone as you used the ones you love to win, one more taste of poison to draw you from within. The things you have done just for one more taste of the silver bullet to get lost within. Finally rock bottom you reach for the rim so many times you stumbled from within. But you are your mommas child . As you lay in the truck hearing your fate from the ones who used you as a toy for their pleasure . for what one more taste. You find your chance as god gave you these words ,run little one or your mom will loose you to . You hit the brush naked as you came into this life. Calling for momma to save your life. The lord touched you and gave you back life . Knowing the road you take now will save not just your life. And your momma cried as you took back control. She looks into your heart even in the dark, not to judge but to hold and protect for the rest of your life. She has never been prouder of anything in her life as the little girl ,God gave back to her life.
