. Rain hammering the road. Deep V8 engines rumbling. Headlights slowly ignite in the fog. At the front sits a black 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The hood shakes as the V8 snarls through open pipes. BLAP. POP. POP. Flames spit from the exhaust. Around it are other outlaw machines: • A brutal 1969 Dodge Charger R/T idling like thunder. • A screaming 1969 Pontiac GTO shaking the pavement. • A fire-red 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the engine revving hard. • A white 1967 Shelby GT500 growling beside them. Drivers sit quietly, staring at the road ahead. The mountain pass drops into darkness. 15 savage hairpins. A racer lights a flare. Green light burns in the rain. RACER Run the mountain. He drops the flare. ⸻ SCENE 2 — THE LAUNCH All the cars explode forward. SFX: Roaring V8 engines shaking the forest. The Boss 302 Mustang rockets into the first corner. The Charger lunges beside it. The GTO spins the tires wildly, throwing water across the road. Lightning flashes across the mountains of Angeles National Forest. ⸻ SCENE 3 — THE FIRST HAIRPINS Hairpin #1. The Mustang slides sideways in a violent drift. Hairpin #2. The Charger powers through with raw torque. Hairpin #3. The Firebird Trans Am drifts wide, tires screaming on wet asphalt. Hairpin #4. The Shelby GT500 roars out of the turn like a missile. Exhaust cracks echo through the storm. BLAP POP POP Flames burst from several muscle cars. ⸻ SCENE 4 — THE WATCHERS High above the road, animals watch the storm. A massive American black bear stands near the tree line, staring at the roaring machines. Further up the cliffs, a Cougar crouches silently on a rock. Lightning lights the mountains. The race tears past them. ⸻ SCENE 5 — MID-MOUNTAIN CHAOS Hairpins 7 through 12. Cars sliding through rain and darkness. The Charger nearly hits the guardrail. The Firebird drifts perfectly through a tight switchback. The GTO roars past another corner with tires spinning. But the Boss 302 stays ahead. The V8 screams through the storm. ⸻ SCENE 6 — FINAL HAIRPINS Hairpin 13. The Shelby GT500 lunges forward trying to pass. Hairpin 14. Two Mustangs drift together through the rain. Hairpin 15. The Boss 302 throws one final perfect slide through the corner. The driver floors it. The V8 roars. The Mustang blasts down the final straight into darkness. ⸻ SCENE 7 — THE LEGEND The mountain grows quiet again. Rain falls through the forest. The bear slowly disappears into the trees. Far away through the storm… The sound echoes across the California mountains. A wild V8 screaming through the night. ⸻ NARRATOR (V.O.) They say when the storms hit the California mountains… You can still hear them. The outlaw muscle cars of the night. Still racing the hairpins. Still chasing thunder.
