Letter of the Heart
Who looks at you from the outside doesn’t know what’s inside,
The pain and the struggle you will face.
Tears falling are verses from the soul,
Writing in the sky a hymn of calm.
Your life is a book of love and pain,
Each page written with faith and fear.
This cross you carry is a light to walk,
A living testimony that makes us believe.
Your life is a letter,
That God reads with compassion,
With ink of blood, printed on the heart.
When sin tried to nullify you,
The story rewritten, God comes to restore.
And death that seemed like an end,
At Calvary became a new beginning in me.
For eternity, Your love is the key,
The introduction is life, in holiness.
How many times have you been in your Gethsemane?
Like the beloved Master, there you dare.
The bitter cup in your hand,
But in everything, seeking Your direction.
You went to the end, even in solitude,
Recalling what Jesus said with heart.
"Your will be done," is the cry,
You are a letter, a miracle of love.
Your life is a letter,
That God reads with compassion,
With ink of blood, printed on the heart.
When sin tried to nullify you,
The story rewritten, God comes to restore.
And death that seemed like an end,
At Calvary became a new beginning in me.
For eternity, Your love is the key,
The introduction is life, in holiness.
In the new covenant, Your grace is song,
Written with the blood, that brings liberation.
And the cross is the symbol of Your forgiveness,
The letter of life that touches the heart.
Your life is a letter,
That God reads with compassion,
With ink of blood, printed on the heart.
When sin tried to nullify you,
The story rewritten, God comes to restore.
And death that seemed like an end,
At Calvary became a new beginning in me.
For eternity, Your love is the key,
