The night is heavy, the shadows fall

I hear the whispers against the wall

The enemy rages, his lies are loud

But I see the breaking of a brighter cloud

I will not tremble, I will not shake

For the King is alive and my soul is awake

I’m girded in truth, I’m covered in grace

I look at the darkness and stand in my place

No weapon formed can prosper or stand

I am secure in the palm of His hand

The battle is fierce, but the victory's sure

My faith is the weapon that helps me endure
