Sunset Fires

Golden hues fade, the world slows down

Whispers of the ocean, a soft, endless sound

Walking on the shoreline, footprints in the sand

Caught in the glow of the sunset, held in nature's hand

Flicker of the firelight dancing on our face

Moments slipping like the tide, a gentle, warm embrace

Crashing waves sing lullabies, the night’s lullaby

Stars awaken in the sky, dreams as vast as the sea

Underneath the sunset's glow, we find our way

Beach fires crackle, stories flow, till break of day

Tides will come and tides will go, but this feels so right

Lost in the fire's glow, beneath the fading light
