Verse 1:
The sun is shining, a brand new start,
I’m ready to teach, with an open heart.
I’ll guide them all, through every spell,
In this world of magic, where dreams can swell.
A class full of faces, each one so unique,
From werewolves to witches, they all have mystique.
Names on my list, some I’ve never known,
But here in this room, they’ll all find a home.
Verse 2:
“Gemma, Honey, Jonathan Taylor,” I say,
Each name I call, I feel the magic sway.
“Aaron, Kaidyn, Nymphadora Mitchell,” I smile,
Every student’s presence makes this day worthwhile.
“Stephen, Braelin, Clay,” the list goes on,
With each new name, the connection’s strong.
“Izzy, Percy, Michael,” I’m filled with pride,
In this classroom, there’s nowhere to hide.
Verse 3:
Tiffany stands up, with a knowing gaze,
“Don’t worry, first-years, we’ve all been amazed.
This class isn’t about what’s wrong or right,
It’s about embracing your powers, your light.”
Percy nods, with a smile so wide,
“We’re all just students with a different stride.
I was scared at first, but look where I am,
Now I’m proud of who I am, no need to scram.”
Joseph May adds with a steady tone,
“This place has helped me feel less alone.
You’re not broken, you’re just meant to be,
A special part of our world, just wait and see.”
Verse 4:
“Let’s talk about werewolves, the myths and the fears,
Stories passed down for hundreds of years.
Some see a monster, but that’s not true,
They’re witches and wizards—just like you.”
“The full moon calls, and the change begins,
A battle fought beneath their skin.
But with Wolfsbane, they stay in control,
Not a beast, just a heart and soul.”
She looks around, eyes bright and wide,
“Understanding is magic, not fear or pride.
So tell me, class, what have you learned?
What stories now have been overturned?”
Verse 5 (Ending):
The room is alive, hands start to rise,
Questions and wonder shine in their eyes.
Ellie smiles, her heart full of light,
“This is just the start—our future is bright.”
“Magic is more than spells and charms,
It’s kindness, knowledge, and open arms.
You’re not alone, you’re meant to be,
A part of this world, just wait and see.”
The bell rings out, but no one moves,
The spark of learning already grooves.
With one last glance, she says with glee,
“Class dismissed—but remember, be free!”
