Holiday Roadtrip

This is a song about a annual road trip. Jodi, Amber, Angie and Rachel. Start the day with bloody Mary’s at Angie’s bar. Delayed start because Michelle thinks 9:30 means 10:00. Melissa, Michelle, Pat and Sheryl are in the other car. They head to the Christmas Barn for shopping and fun. There is always a warm toilet seat, a Christmas ass and a cozy couch with Christmas movies. This year it was raining and there were several trips back to the register to buy more. Amber tried to knock herself out with closing the trunk to get out of the rain. They then head to the winery for wine and whisky slushies with a side of pizza. Pat brings back an ice bucket with a bottle of wine just for her. Jodi and Angie hit the whiskey slushies hard. Rachel discovers the joy of mixing the red and white wine slushies. Amber sits back enjoys her diet Mountain Dew and laughs at all of the stories coming from the table. Jodi secretly plots another bar stop on the way home. Jodi and Rachel are all in on tasting all the craft drinks at the next bar. Angie is feeling sleepy. They check the weather and see the snow is coming. It’s now dark and time to head home. Amber white knuckles it all the way home. While Jodi DJs the playlist all the way home. It was a fun day filled with love, laughter and so many stories.
