Fallen, but I rise again, I'm a child of the King

Strength from above, Your grace is everything

You caught me off guard, I didn't see that blow coming

Thinking I was in control, my pride was humming

Self-satisfied, I stood so tall

But I forgot where my true strength calls

Every time I stumble, every time I fall

Your mercy lifts me, I hear Your gentle call

"Stand up, my child, reach out your hand"

With You, I rise, I understand

Satan, you can slap me down again

But I’ll get up, I won’t surrender to pain

My strength comes from the One above

His love, His power, His perfect love

I am climbing, I am free to

A child of the King, eternally

You can try, but I will stand

Empowered by my God’s mighty hand

You remind me where my strength comes from

Not in me, but in the One whose kingdom won

When I trust in Him, I’m never alone

He’s the strength in my weakness, He’s my stone

So I’ll reach out once more, and I’ll stand tall

With my Savior, I can conquer it all
