Jack and Jill

Life is an uphill battle, a daily grind,

We all try hard not to lose our mind,

We wake up in the morning and put on our walking shoes,

The rays of sunshine chase away our blues,

We all want the same thing

Enough money for better days

Staring out the window pane

Trying not to go insane,

Yeah time crawls by until it’s gone too fast

Life’s too short to worry about the past,

Like jack and Jill we tread up hills,

To find that there’s no water,

Stop worrying about what ain’t and give your problems to the father,

One life starts and another one ends,

It’s a Short time on earth and God is Good amen

Let the God’s love be your pill

Treading uphill like Jack and Jill

I see people working so hard,

And Shooting for the stars,

Buy a house, and buy a car,

Never ending cycle that brings you back to the start,

And life flies by like a flash in the dark,

Before you know it, you wonder who you are,

One day you’re going uphill like Jack and Jill,

The next day your tumbling down,

Yeah time crawls by until it’s gone too fast
