From Victim to Warrior

In the shadows, I was hiding,

Each whisper cut, like a knife,

But I found the strength, still inside me,

To break the silence, reclaim my life.

Walked through those doors, and I laid it bare,

A heart full of scars, but I learned to care,

For the one who’s broken, who needs to rise,

I faced my demons, and stared in their eyes.

Each day’s a step, on this journey anew,

With every tear fallen, I’m learning what’s true,

Though the past haunts me, I won’t back down,

I’m standing tall, I’ll wear my crown.

I’m not just a victim, I’m a warrior now,

With a fire inside, I’ve taken my vow,

From darkness to light, I’ll rewrite my story,

I’m a male survivor, reclaiming my glory.

Night terrors whisper, in stillness they creep,

But I won’t surrender, I won’t lose my sleep,

I’ll face the crowds, though my heart races fast,

No more hiding, I’m breaking the glass.

Every scar tells a story, of battles I fought,

They won’t define me, I rise from what’s sought,

With courage I’ll press on, through the fears and the pain,

I’m breaking these chains, I’ll dance in the rain.

I’m not just a victim, I’m a warrior now,

Step by step, I’ll find my way back,

To joy I was robbed of, I’ll find what I lack,

As a male survivor, I’ll leave my mark.
