Now I’m Alive In Christ

I spent years in the darkness, trying to guide my own way,

Said I didn’t need a Savior, thought my strength could save the day.

But the harder I tried, the more empty I became—

Fear wrapped around my chest, and I had no one to blame.

I caused pain I never wanted, broke the things I tried to hold,

Chasing purpose in the shadows left my heart so cold.

But even when I ran, You were calling out my soul—

Preparing me for freedom only You could unfold.

Every wall inside me fell…

I heard the Father whisper,

“Come home, all is well.”

Where love replaced the heaviness I carried in my chest.

Just like the prodigal returning, broken and confessed—

You ran toward my weakness, wrapped me in Your rest.

Now my past has been forgiven, washed away and left behind,

You restored what I had shattered, gave me hope I couldn’t find.

Every step is full of purpose, every moment redesigned—

A life rebuilt by Jesus, a redeemed and living mind.
