Piled on my doorsteps
Rooftop and car
Looking through the window
At the snow in my yard
Knowing that despite all the warm clothes I wear
How can I compete with the Artic-like air?
But yet through all this weather
You won't see me complain
I'm well aware of who controls
The cold heat and rain
Instead I'll count my blessings
Thank God for what He's done
His tender mercies new each day
For me and everyone
