One Step to Heal

A new dawn, a new fight within,

Stepping up, I let the healing begin.

Tonight I vow, I won't back down,

Turning pain into strength, I wear my crown.

Doctor told me life was gonna change,

Rods in my back, rearranged.

Had to learn to eat, to move, to be strong,

Find the will inside where I belong.

July 7th, twenty twenty-five,

A new chapter, I’m alive.

Cutting through doubts, embracing the pain,

Every step, I break the chain.

This is my comeback story,

Stronger with each day.

From the shadows of my past,

To the light, I find my way.

Eat right, walk tall, rebuild my soul,

One step at a time, I am whole.
