She started working, in the kitchen at the hospital

He helped train horses, at a harness racing stable

They brought a house and got married, in nineteen eighty nine

Six years later their family, started to arrive

They had brought into this world, two bundles of joy

First came a beautiful baby girl, then a bouncing baby boy

Her mum is her best friend, Dad's her taxi when, she goes out of town

She will get out, the needles and wool, when she gets down

Her son says you can't sleep, it's like a train on a track

When all you hear are them needles, going a click and a clack

Family holidays were weekends away,

Watching their favorite singer play,

She thought everything, was going alright,

But he was texting, a woman late at night

he walked out the door, and left her and the kids,

Their daughter was fifteen, and a boy who was ten.

She raised them, the best that she could,

Things started to look up and She got a job as a motel, receptionist
