Beast and Peace in the Rain

Whispers in the morning light,

As the rain begins to fall,

In the shadows of the night,

I've found peace through it all.

There's a beast that roams my mind,

Chasing dreams I've yet to find,

In the depths, it's hard to see,

But today, I seek my peace.

Raindrops dance on windowpanes,

Melodies wash away my pains,

As the dawn breaks, I can breathe,

The storm inside, it starts to leave.

In the morning rain, I find my soul,

Letting go of what takes its toll,

With the beast now tamed and still,

I embrace the peace, it's time for healing's thrill.

So let the rain fall softly down,

In its rhythm, I will drown,

Morning's light breaks through the gray,

In this moment, I’ll be okay.
