Pain in my chest, dagger in my spine,

You thought you broke me — but I’m still alive.

Pain and dark, yeah they mark my heart,

You cut me deep, tried to tear me apart.

No gentle hand, you came with a hammer,

Crushed my soul cold — fossilized amber.

Shattered on the floor, but the shards still gleam,

Each piece a weapon, each cut a scream.
