Across the Bridge

I walked where the shadows meet the stream

Each step a whisper every thought a dream

The wind it called my name

The sun sank low behind the hill

Time stood still

Across the bridge where the wildflowers grow

Where the river hums and the moon hangs low

The boards creak stories of lives before

Footprints fade but the echoes soar
