Static breath.

Bright screen.

Still moving.

Lights feel heavy, colors slide,

Thoughts collide, then multiply.

Time won’t slow, I don’t complain,

Running logic through the pain.

Jaw clenched tight, pulse in sync,

Every second on the brink.

I don’t float, I don’t cruise,

I sprint straight through the blues.

Too alert to fade,

Too tired to lie.

If I stop now,

I lose the night.
