Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego stood tall
In Babylon’s court, they refused to fall
Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol gleamed
But they would not bow to the king’s dark dream
Fire can’t hold us, the flames won’t win
Our God is stronger than the heat within
Through the furnace, we will stand
For the Lord delivers by His hand
The king enraged, his fury rose
Seven times hotter the furnace glows
Bound in chains, to the fire they were thrown
But they were not standing there alone
Fire can’t hold us, the flames won’t win
Our God is stronger than the heat within
Through the furnace, we will stand
For the Lord delivers by His hand
Four walked in the fire, not three
One like the Son of God set them free
Not a hair was singed, no smoke they bore
The king cried out, “Praise the Lord forevermore!”
Fire can’t hold us, the flames won’t win
Our God is stronger than the heat within
Through the furnace, we will stand
For the Lord delivers by His hand
From the fire, unbound they came
All the nations blessed His name
In the furnace, faith was shown
And the power of the Lord was known
