Lost in a maze, where the walls close in tight,

Night grips my soul, no stars, no light.

Voices screaming, shadows move in packs,

They whisper my fears, I feel the attack.

Lord, I’m sinking, drowning in this mess,

Chains too heavy, can’t feel my chest.

Passion to run, but my feet got weights,

Open the gate, Lord, show me escape.

Heavy breath foggin’ up the cold steel glass,

Clock hands tick, time too slow to pass.

Madness in my veins, chaos in my head,

Living in a puzzle where the colors bled.

Lungs burn, chasing an air that won’t come,

Heartbeat drums, banging till I’m numb.

Hands together, scream out to the skies,

“Save me from this madness, Lord, hear my cries.”
