I traveled far across the sea,

Chasing winds that whispered free.

The ocean sang, it called my name—

But the waves… they spoke of pain.

Message in a bottle

Floating in the blue,

Every word inside it

It screamed of you.

Tides can pull me closer,

They can drift me away,

But this message keeps me anchored

In yesterday.

Walking alone where the shoreline bends,

Footprints fade, but the ache extends.

The sand holds secrets it won’t let go—

Like a love I lost,

Like the undertow.

I reached for the sky,

But it stayed so high…

Why can’t it hear me cry?
