A Light in the Darkness

Silence whispers softly as the night unfolds,

Memories bloom like flowers, stories yet untold.

Lying here with my boys, stars shining in their eyes,

Trying to find the words that can heal these broken skies.

Heart heavy with loss, tears that never dry,

Thinking of her smile, loved and free to fly.

Though the pain feels so deep, and the tears still fall,

I know she's in a place where she’s free from it all.

Grandma, you’re like the dawn after the night,

In a better place now, bathed in eternal light.

No more suffering, no more tears,

Forever in my heart, through all these years.

Whispered prayers at dawn, her spirit’s still near,

Guiding me through the dark, wiping every tear.
