He moved like a shadow under gold-lit haze

Spoke like a prayer but meant it sideways

His smile lit up a darker truth

And I stepped inside it without a clue

The floor gave in with every breath

He pulled me close and I forgot regret

His fingers cold but his voice ran warm

Said, “This isn’t danger — it’s just the norm”

I said I’d watch, not fall too deep

But the rhythm crawled beneath my feet

And he didn’t ask — I just agreed

To follow him where I’d never leave

He won’t force you — he’ll make you choose

You’ll think you’re standing ‘til you sway

Until your voice don’t sound like your own

And spun me through the fading light

That stitched themselves beneath my nerves

Each move was slow, but stripped me clean

He danced like loss, dressed up like peace
