Return to Love

Oh dear Lord in the sky, I’m here to speak,

With a heart full of hope, so fragile and weak.

She’s my guiding light, my every dream,

In these dark days of silence, I long for her beam.

High school days, hand in hand, we would run,

Filling our nights with laughter, under the sun.

Now I stand here, wishing for her grace,

As I look up to heaven, hoping to find her face.

Lord, why did you bring her back just to take her away?

In this battle for her life, I kneel down to pray.

She’s my heart, she’s my all, the love of my days,

Please grant her your healing, let her spirit blaze.

Heavenly Father, hear my plea,

Bring her back home, set my sweetheart free.

With your angel’s touch, mend her soul,

Together forever, that’s our goal.

I’ve known dark days, I’ve walked through the fire,

But with her by my side, I’ve learned to inspire.

A life full of laughter, a shared little dream,

Just one chance to rebuild, to mend and redeem.

Oh Lord, I’ve been broken, but I’ve learned to fight,

Through every shadow, she’s my brightness, my light.

So I humbly ask you, let her hear my call,

With your endless magic, let her rise, let her stand tall.

Heavenly Father, hear my plea,
