Thank You for your love
(Inspired by Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46, John 19:30)
Verse 1
Father, You sent Your only Son,
To save a world that had gone wrong.
He walked in love, He walked in grace,
Yet bore our shame and took our place.
I didn’t deserve Your mercy, Lord,
I couldn’t earn Your perfect love.
But Jesus chose the rugged cross,
To bring me home to God above.
Pre-Chorus
With His final breath He cried,
“It is finished,” then He died.
Into the Father’s hands He gave His spirit,
Love fulfilled before our eyes.
Chorus
Thank You for dying for my sin,
Thank You for making me whole again.
You gave Your life so I could live,
A gift of grace I could never give.
Jesus, Lamb of God, I sing,
Forever You will be my King.
Thank You for the cross, my Lord,
Thank You for Your saving love.
Verse 2
The earth grew dark, the curtain tore,
The sacrifice was paid once more.
The Savior suffered willingly,
To set the captives truly free.
No greater love has ever been shown,
Than Jesus leaving heaven’s throne.
He took my guilt, He took my shame,
Now I will praise His holy name.
Bridge
I repent, Lord, cleanse my heart,
Your mercy gave a brand-new start.
When I was lost, You rescued me,
Your blood has won my victory.
Final Chorus
Thank You for dying for my sin,
Thank You for making me whole again.
You sent Your only Son for me,
To break my chains and set me free.
Jesus, Savior, risen King,
Forever Your praise I will sing.
Thank You for your love my Lord,
Thank You for Your endless love.
Ending
“It is finished,” the Savior cried,
Then gave His spirit and died.
But death could not hold Him down—
Now Jesus reigns with glory and crown. ✝️🎶🙏🏻❤️
