TV glow made the whole world choke

Fear spread fast through every home

Neighbors scared to stand alone

Flags went high, tears hit the floor

Everybody praying through another war

Children grew with anxiety wired

Truth got buried, rage got hired

Then the whispers changed their name

New disease, same old game

Ebola headlines flood the screen

Everybody asking what it means

People masked by fear and doubt

Nobody knew what truth was now

Every channel screaming loud

Lost identities inside the crowd

Screens replaced the human touch

Silence started hurting us

Then more shots rang through the noise

While ordinary people barely move

Wars overseas, prices rise

Angry hearts and tired eyes

Riots burning through the night

Everybody claiming they were right

Truth feels dangerous when it’s bold
