Veil of Pain

In shadows where the whispers play,

I’m losing grip, can't find my way,

Smiling in a hollow frame,

This shattered heart calls out your name.

You wear your mask, it fits so right,

The charming prince, the gentle knight,

But in the dark, you’re not the same,

A puppet dance in love’s cruel game.

I paint my face in colors bright,
