To Search You Out

Jehovah  God, you are so near,
Your works of love make you so clear,
Through all creation, we can see,
Your power and Godship endlessly.

Jehovah is your mighty name,
The First, the Last, forever same,
You stand above all gods of earth,
The Most High One of matchless worth.

To search you out, your works we scan,
Your Word unveils your loving plan,
You want all hearts to know what’s right,
And walk in truth before your sight.

Not just a force without a face,
You are a Person, full of grace,
A Spirit with a dwelling high,
In heaven’s realm beyond our sky.

You send your spirit forth in might,
Your holy force brings life and light,
Through it you shaped the earth and sea,
And wrote your Word for us to see.
