Get me out of this darkness, Father.

The darkness surrounding me.

Seems depression is taking over.

The light, I can no longer see.

I’m reaching out to you, my God,

Who I know loves me.

My God who knows every pain, every single part of me,

Father God, please get me through,

Hold my hand while I walk with you

through this dark valley.

Please send your comfort to surround me,

I pray you set me free.

You are the Lord and you’ll never stop loving me.

This pain inside is deep.

Deeper than it seems I can handle.

Tears are falling down in a steady stream.

It’s like I’m stuck in a bad dream.

I’m reaching out to you, my God,

WHO I know loves me.

I trust you God in my weakness.
