A distant rumble, then a sky ablaze,
No gentle dawn, but glory's searing might,
The earth recoils, in fear and stunned amaze,
As shadows flee before the blinding light.
The King descends, with angels at his side,
A crown of fire, eyes that pierce the soul,
The mountains tremble, oceans cannot hide,
As ancient prophecies at last unroll.
The broken world, in judgment's balance weighed,
The tears of ages, now a final flood,
The righteous rise, no longer dismayed,
While those who scorned, in silent terror stood.
A reign begins, where justice finds its throne,
And every heart, before the truth is known.
