I write this down with shaking hands

A body breaking, no second chance

A knife of truth I couldn’t dodge

Now I’m staring down the edge of God

Time got quiet, gave me space

To carve these words I couldn’t face

First-born child, but never seen

Just a ghost inside your scene

You taught me lessons I can’t erase

But none of them were love or grace

Betrayal doesn’t say enough

You broke me down, called it love

Now I’m standing at the end of this road

With a heart you never let me hold

Fake your sickness, fake your lies

Spoke of things that burned my eyes

Every word a blade you’d bring

So when love knocked at my door

I pushed it out, I wanted war

Then blamed me for the broken hole
