Invisible in a Crowded World

Lost in the shadows, longing for light

Caught in this silence, fighting the night

Walking through the mirror, I don't recognize my face

Buried under sorrow, trapped in this lonely space

Sick and tired of the battles, of the weight I carry

Wishing for a break, just a moment to breathe

And I wonder what I did, to deserve this pain

A ghost among souls, invisible in the rain

Can somebody hear me? Can somebody see?

I'm screaming out for help, trapped in this misery

Break these chains, set me free

Lift me from this cage I see

I’m losing more, than most could understand

Fading away, lost in no man’s land

Need a sign, a helping hand

To heal this broken man

Counting all the scars, reaching for a hand

Most don't notice, they don't understand

Feeling like a shadow, passing through the crowd

Hoping for a moment where I won't feel so alone now

Why am I stuck in this world full of faces?
