Mr Death is a man of mystery,
His long dark robe conceals all he needs.
Ominous and grim, yet kind and gentle,
Holding his scythe and withholding his judgment.
His hooded head nods and smiles,
Eyes no mortals will ever see.
He knows exactly when to call,
But his decision is made in a secret hall.
He goes wherever his work's needed,
Crossing through planes the living don't tread.
He takes the willing and those who must go,
Waiting silently in the shadow's deepest ebb and flow.
Mr Death is a man of mystery,
His long dark robe conceals all he needs.
The Grim Reaper can no longer disguise,
But somehow still manages to surprise.
