NEW BEGINNINGS

Different days, a different world,

When I stepped away from the toxic mould.

My life was changed when we stepped aside,

Left behind the old ways and all the lies.

I closed that door, I let it go,

Walked through the fire, now I know—

Sometimes you lose to find your way,

Sometimes the darkness makes the day.

New beginnings rise ahead of us, and I feel fine,

Feels so good to be alive again, this life is mine.

No more remorse, no more pain,

Instead of losing, now we gain.

The past is gone, and now I know,

I found the strength to let it go.

I start to feel, I start to move,

I'm back again, I've got something to prove.

I remember days when I fell back,

Nobody beside me, barely staying on track.

Lost in my head, trapped in the black,

Carrying the weight of everything I lacked.

But now I rise, yeah, I'm reborn,

The pain is fading, the fear is gone.

I'm not looking back at that dark throne,

I fought those battles on my own.

The sky is the limit, and I feel fine,
