"I miss how it used to be back when we were 18, 19, 20"
We’d chase raves through cities and camp out at festivals too
Tents pitched on muddy fields, skies of deepest blue
No fancy tech, just sound that shook the spot
"Spending time with friends and raving till the sun comes up"
Shoulders pressed together, never once enough
"I still feel so young but it won’t be the same as it used to be"
Now I’m in my late twenties, but inside I’m still 18
"We are growing up with more responsibilities"
And every day I feel the change in us
"I can feel the good times slipping through my fingers"
Like sand beneath my feet, as morning light it lingers
Raves in warehouse spaces, festivals stretching for miles
We’d dance through rain or shine, wearing our biggest smiles
"Raving till the sun comes up" – that was our only rule
No worries weighing heavy, no clocks to make us cruel
From concrete floors to grassy grounds, every beat was ours to take
Those memories burn bright, never once to fade or break
"I still feel so young but it won’t be the same as it used to be"
Now I’m in my late twenties, but inside I’m still 18
"We are growing up with more responsibilities"
And every day I feel the change in us
"I can feel the good times slipping through my fingers"
Like sand beneath my feet, as morning light it lingers
Now we’re planning futures, paying rent and bills
But when I close my eyes, I’m back there on the hill
Or packed tight in a room with speakers to the sky
With all of you around me, lost in sound and space
Those moments live forever, time can’t erase
"I miss how it used to be" – that thought stays close each day
Even as we grow, we carry those days away
Festivals and raves, they’re part of who I am
"Still feel so young" inside my soul
Those friends, those nights – they make me whole
