By Grace Through Faith

Verse 1:

I was lost in sin, I had gone astray,

All have fallen short, the Scriptures say.

But God looked down with a heart of love,

And sent His Son from Heaven above.

By grace through faith, I’ve been set free,

The blood of Jesus poured out for me.

He took my place, He bore my shame,

It’s not by works that I could boast—
