Born in light, a celestial spark,
Heaven's choir, before the fall's dark arc.
Knew the scriptures, every sacred line,
Now twists the truth, with a venomous design.
He walks the aisles, where hymns ascend,
A wolf in robes, a treacherous friend.
Whispers doubts, in the hallowed halls,
Plants seeds of discord, before the altar calls.
He knows the Word, the path to grace,
And builds his walls, in this sacred space.
For in the church, a battleground unseen,
He wars against the pure, the ever-clean.
So watch your heart, and guard your soul,
For the ancient foe, has taken his toll.
He's more at home, than you might believe,
In the house of God, where shadows weave.
Unholy ground, where shadows play,
Satan finds comfort, day by day.
In sacred halls, a twisted game,
He whispers lies in Jesus' name.
Legalism's chains, his favored tool,
To bind the spirit, and make it cruel.
He twists the law, to crush the soul,
And steals the joy, that makes us whole.
Heresies spread, like a subtle disease,
Distorting truth, with deceptive ease.
He uses voices, of power and might,
To lead astray, from the saving light.
Pastors and leaders, caught in his snare,
Unwitting pawns, beyond compare.
They preach a gospel, of fear and of dread,
While the flock is lost, and the spirit is dead.
He knows the way, to block the throne,
To keep you distant, and all alone.
So test the words, with discerning eyes,
For the serpent's wisdom, wears a clever disguise.
Unholy ground, where shadows play,
Satan finds comfort, day by day.
In sacred halls, a twisted game,
He whispers lies in Jesus' name.
Accuser of brethren, his constant role,
To highlight flaws, and take their toll.
He points the finger, with accusing glare,
And whispers, "You're not worthy to be there."
He revels in sin, then condemns the act,
A master of deception, a cunning tactician, in fact.
He keeps you bound, in a cycle of shame,
While the promise of grace, becomes a forgotten name.
He stirs up strife, and plants seeds of division,
Turning hearts away, from God's true vision.
So stand your ground, with faith as your shield,
And let the Spirit, be your guide revealed.
For in the church, the battle rages on,
Between the darkness, and the rising dawn.
Be vigilant, and stay awake,
Lest the serpent's whisper, your spirit break.
Unholy ground, where shadows play,
Satan finds comfort, day by day.
In sacred halls, a twisted game,
He whispers lies in Jesus' name.
