A Warrior

I'm a Fighter.

Fighting the labels they put on me as a kid.

Sweating blood and tears for the grades I wanted.

Refusing to conform, to let anyone knock me down.

I'm an Overcomer.

Overcoming the verbal and physical abuse that my family endured.

Opened my eyes;

Showing me the person I never want to be.

I'm a Survivor.

Watched as cancer killed my mother slowly.

As my father took his own life.

I had to grow up early in life.

I'm a Trooper.

I have fought and struggled to reach my accomplishments in life.

Nothing has ever been handed to me or easily gotten.

Making me appreciate everything I have achieved.

Whatever life throws at me, I will prevail.

Life has molded me into a Fighter, Overcomer, Survivor, and a Trooper.

Has transformed me into a Warrior.
