Choose the Light

Whispering shadows, voices in the night

Temptations calling, trying to steal my light

The serpent slithered, with words so sly

Did God really say, don't even try?

He whispered lies of wisdom, false and sweet

Made me doubt, made me believe the deceit

Trust is a bridge, fragile and thin

Who will I follow when the lies begin?

Darkness surrounds, but I know the truth

God's light shines brighter, in my youth

Choose now who you will follow, the darkness or the sun?

The path is wide, but the journey is long

I will serve the Lord, my guiding song

Faith over fear, love over lies

He sent His Son to open my eyes

Satan wears a mask, a false friend in disguise

Promising joy, delivering pain and demise

But the truth is a roar, louder than his deceit

In God's grace, my soul's complete

So I stand firm, in the love of my King

Rejecting the lies that the darkness brings

My heart is steadfast, my chorus is free

As for me and my house, we serve the Lord eternally
