Holding On to Hope

Walking through shadows, but I see the dawn

Fading fears, Your light still lives on

Once lost in the darkness, barely holding on

Tried to find my way, but I was gone

Then Your mercy reached down, pulled me from the deep

Saved my soul, made me whole, now I believe

When the storms are raging, and I feel weak

Your love’s the strength I seek

Even in the struggles, I remember Your grace

You’re the beat that keeps my heart in place

By Your grace, I am saved, forever redeemed

When I feel like giving up, I think of You, my dream

Through the trials and the pain, You’re my guiding light

Holding on to hope, in Your love I fight

Some days are darker, shadows fall around

But Your promises, they resound

In the quiet, I hear You calling my name

Lifted up, no shame, I proclaim

When the nights are long, and I’m feeling low

You remind me I’m not alone

Your mercy’s new each morning, fresh and true

Gives me strength to see it through
