Under the star we laid

Moulded to stone in frame

We were both in vain with so much pain

Shooting stars crossed the sky

As we both sat wondering why

Is it a sign to shine

A sign to embrace

A sign to let go of our parents disgrace

I wish I could take back time

To understand it to make you mine

Now I sit sublime with no more time

The thought of once kept me alive

Now I’m left with no stride

You said you loved me then walked away

I tried to reach you to be met with fire

I need to understand it this desire

Through the flame I remain

Held by the strength of my pain
