Thinking back to the good ole days when we just kids riding our BMX bikes in the neighborhood. No helmets, no cell phones, just outside getting dirty and up to no good. We were just 15. One night we snuck out of the parents house and took our friends Toyota 4 runner to the desert to shoot some cans. my friend was feeling down because his father had just passed, he was a good man. As we pulled up to our favorite spot we saw lights flashing in the distance, before we knew we were being chased by 20 cops, not really sure what to do, we turned that car around and ran, we were just 15.
We were just 15….
We were just 15…
The last thing I remember is saying watch out for the canal, we flipped that old 4 runner right into the ditch. We all jumped out and ran! We kept running not looking back. We ran about 5 miles non stop to my house. Jumping fences and getting chased by dogs. We got a ride back to my friends house and snuck back in the window like we were free in clear, until the police showed up knocking on the front door. We were all deep shit. Handcuffed on the couch and slapped with felonies. But that good God was watching over us. come to find out, Arizona law says driving on an unnamed road you don’t need a drivers license. So we were all set free. Thank God, We were just 15
We were just 15
Those were the days we were just 15
