From Shadows to Shine

Gentle dawn, a new day starts

Lessons learned, mended hearts

From shadows dark to shining light

Journey’s long, but now I see my sight

Once I was caught in my own game

Selfish ways, I knew no shame

Lost in youth, I chased my pride

Faced the storms that I’d hide

But time, it guides us, makes us grow

Shows us what we need to know

From broken jars, new hope does rise

With thankful hearts and clearer eyes

Now I stand on solid ground

Grateful for what I’ve found

Worries fade, my family’s near

Thanks to God, I have no fear

Dreams have grown from seeds I sowed

Blessings rich, worth more than gold

Forever thankful, I proclaim

Life’s a gift, I praise His name

Faith in my heart, I’ve come so far

Guided by a shining star

From selfish dreams to helping hands

I finally understand
