Freedom's Promise

Whispering winds carry my dreams away

Hope flickers in the shadows, fading day by day

Walking through the silence, shadows on my soul

Seeking a light, a way to make me whole

Every step is heavier than the last

But I cling to hope, hold on fast

Even in the darkness, there's a spark within

Waiting for the dawn to let the healing begin

Maybe one day I can be free from this pain

Lifted by the morning sun, dance in the rain

Dreams of freedom, till the bitter end

Mirrors reflecting questions I can't answer
